This Weekend!
January 02 - January 04
| Welcome in the New Year in Winston-Salem. Start your year off with a Gallery Hop in Downtown. Galleries, shops and studios will be open late and welcome you with cutting edge art and the streets will be alive with fame dancers to keep you warm. The balance of the weekend will be your last chance to take in some of 2008's best exhibits, before they are backed away. Speaking of last chances this will be your last chance to visit our friend SECCA. The Southeaster Center for Contemporary Arts (SECCA) will begin a yearlong restoration at the end of the weekend. Not going away for good, SECCA's exhibits will be appearing throughout the year, in various exhibit spaces in town. Take time to visit SECCA's neighbor the Reynolda House Museum of American Art, and their tribute to artist John Sloan, and his insider's look at New York City. Start off 2009 with a great weekend, say good bye to a great friend, and make it a fun weekend!
